This is where I keep a full list of everything Shute wrote in his life, that I can possibly get my hands on. I use this numbering system for my research, so that each item is as distinct as can be.
I have found it useful to read and download free (and copyright-free) electronic versions of his books at both Project Gutenberg Canada as well as Faded Page.

*Stephen Morris is noted first in the list because despite not being initially published it does in fact plainly constitute his first uncertain entry into his lifelong work on Moral and Political Philosophy.
*I am fully aware of the discrepancy of placing Pastoral ahead of Most Secret – to my mind the order of these two is completely irrelevant given their contents and message are largely identical and putting one ahead of the other does not meaningfully alter the “story” of the author’s lifelong development.
